NISPAC was launched at its Constituent Assembly (conference) in February 2003 in Kyiv, Ukraine. NISPAC is the Eastern-European Regional Chapter of GOPAC for NIS countries and includes six newly independent countries from the former USSR – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Byelorussia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

NISPAC has the same principles and goals as GOPAC and called to provide them for the regional level.

NISPAC and its National chapters are still in formation.

 

NISPAC Members

Volodymyr [Mykolayovych] Stretovych was born 19 May 1958 in the village of Zabrane of Malyn district of Zhytomyr oblast of Ukraine). Graduated from Kyiv Topographical Technical School in 1977 (technician-topographer); Kyiv State University in 1983 (lawyer); post-graduate course of study of Institute State & Law of Ukrainian Academy of Science in 1987. Candidate of Juridical Science (1989); university reader (assistant professor); Merited Lawyer of Ukraine (honorary title).

Elected to the GOPAC Board of Directors in 2002. Currently Chair of NISPAC.
